“Karmanos Cancer Institute faculty made a significant impact at the Precision Oncology Saudi Summit in Madinah. Drs. Al Hallak, Azmi, Pasche, and Sukari showcased their innovative research on various cancers, including head and neck cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, neuroendocrine tumors, and pancreatic cancer.
It was also a pleasure to reconnect with Dr. Anders Mellgren, Executive Director of the Cancer Center of Excellence at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh, as well as Dr. Ayman Saad, whom I recruited over a decade ago to the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
The summit was impeccably organized by Dr. Amal AlBeihany and her dedicated team.”
