Bogda Koczwara, Director of Australian Research Centre for Cancer Survivorship, shared on LinkedIn:
“An important paper (and an insightful editorial) on work in cancer survivors in United States showing that paid sick leave was associated with less care delays and reduced overall [HR], 0.74 [95% CI, 0.61 to 0.9]; and cancer mortality (HR, 0.74 [95% CI, 0.61 to 0.91]; P =.003).
As was said about exercise last year, if only it were a pill.
Time to broaden our view of what good survivorship care and extend it to economic policy influence.”
