Bogda Koczwara, Director of Australian Research Centre for Cancer Survivorship, shared a post about an article Anne-Sophie Darlington and colleagues authored on LinkedIn:
“An important paper defining the core outcome set for AYA adults with cancer. An international consensus based on literature reviews and interviews:
- 20 outcome measures that are tumour agnostic and disease phase agnostic
- with the exception of fertility, would be applicable to all ages of cancer
- 18 out of 20 outcome measures depend on collection of patient reported outcomes (PROs)
- the AYA population is defined as 15-39 yrs which is broader than what is used in Australia

Title: Development of a core outcome set for adolescents and young adults with cancer
