Biohub Partners with Tahoe Therapeutics and Arc Institute on Virtual Cell Models

Priscilla Chan, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Thrilled that Biohub is partnering with Tahoe Therapeutics and Arc Institute on a foundational effort to advance virtual cell model development.

This collaboration will generate the largest perturbation-rich single-cell dataset to date – 120M+ cells and 225,000 perturbation interactions – and eventually be openly available to the global scientific community.

At Biohub, our commitment to open science is central to how we approach AI-powered biology. Efforts like this reflect a shared belief that accelerating discovery requires scale, openness, and deep collaboration across institutions. I’m excited to see how this resource helps researchers better understand disease and move science forward for patients everywhere.”
