In oncology, we rarely think of prescribing structured exercise the way we prescribe a systemic treatment.

But structured exercise is not just supportive care. It has a measurable impact on survival, quality of life, and recovery, and in many settings, it costs almost nothing to deliver.

My latest commentary is now live in The Oncologist Journal, and it is a small attempt to frame this more formally.

I termed it ‘Myokinib’ – because in medicine, we suggest lifestyle changes, but we prescribe therapeutics. Naming it is the prerequisite to operationalizing it.”
