Empowering Communities to Fight Childhood Cancer

On 2nd June 2026, Ramesh Gupta Memorial Trust, in partnership with World Child Cancer successfully organized a one-day awareness and orientation session for Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) at B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital (BPKMCH), Bharatpur.

Awareness event was led sr. consultant Dr Krishna Sagar Sharma and his team. Training brought together over 65 dedicated FCHVs from different wards under Bharatpur Metropolitan City. FCHVs were equipped with vital knowledge to help refer and support children with suspected childhood Cancers.

We extend our sincere thanks to BPKMCH, Children Cancer Foundation Nepal, Bharatpur Metropolitan City and Amgen for their generous support.

Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive pathway to early diagnosis and quality care, starting at the heart of the community.”
