Benda Kithaka: Delighted to Speak at WHS2026 on NCD Financing and Women’s Health

Benda Kithaka, Executive Director and Founder of KILELE Health Association, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Delighted to be a speaker at WHS2026 on NCD financing and Women’s Health, representing the CSOs/Patients Voice, and bringing real-world perspectives to the dialogues, because health financing reforms and “last mile” solutions must translate into real access, equitable, affordable, and dignified services for patients who need them.

Join me at the two sessions:

  • Wednesday, April 29 | 9:3011:00 EAT.
    • Plenary Session on Financing Sustainable Cancer Care in Africa.
    • Co-hosts: Roche and Amref Health Africa.
    • In this session, my focus will be on bringing patient realities, and the patient advocates voice to the forefront of health financing reforms, to challenge how we design equitable, lasting health systems.
  • Wednesday, April 29 | 18:30 – 20:00 EAT.
    • An evening Fireside Chat on Women’s Health: Science, Innovations, Practice and Unlocking Financing – With a Focus on Female Cancers.
    • Host: United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)
    • In this session, I will focus on bringing the patient perspectives into how we design, fund, and deliver solutions that truly work for the communities that we serve.

I hope you can join us.”
