“Very disappointed to see the decision to punish non UK graduates working in the NHS come to fruition.
An excellent Trust Grade doctor ranked 53rd in Orthopaedic Speciality Training selection was unappointable having worked in the NHS for only 3 years. Her Core Trainee colleague, also excellent, ranked 56th, received an EoE position.
I value all our hardworking doctors in the NHS and feel that these jobs should be appointed according to merit. The decision to disallow non UK trainees is divisive and should not be tolerated.”
