Congratulations to Rahul Raj Singh on Receiving BCAN Young Investigator Award – BCAN

Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Congratulations to BCAN Young Investigator Award recipient Rahul Raj Singh, Ph.D. of Weill Cornell Medicine.

Dr. Singh’s research seeks to better understand how bladder cancer spreads and to identify new ways to prevent metastasis. His work focuses on reversing changes that drive cancer progression, with the goal of developing more effective treatments for patients with advanced bladder cancer.

“Bladder cancer is one of the most common cancers in the United States, and once it spreads, treatment options remain very limited,”

– said Dr. Singh.

“This award supports my research into how brief bursts of DNA damage leave a permanent mark that drives cancer spread, and how we can reverse it using next-generation protein-degrader technologies. The BCAN Young Investigator Award is the foundation I need to turn these discoveries into real therapeutic strategies for patients with metastatic bladder cancer.”

BCAN is proud to support promising early-career investigators whose innovative research is helping shape the future of bladder cancer treatment.”
