Bambino Jesu Partnership to Enhance Pediatric Care in Kyrgyzstan

National Center for Maternal and Child Health shared a post on Facebook:

“Cooperation with the Bambino Jesu Clinic is reaching a new level. It should be recalled that during the visit of President Sadyr Nurgozhoyevich to Rome, an agreement was reached on cooperation with the world-famous Bambino Jesu Children’s Clinic, one of the world’s leading medical centers.

In September, we held a historic meeting with a cardinal from the Vatican and signed a memorandum of understanding, an important step towards a full—fledged partnership. Today, this path continues. The Nuncio of the Vatican has arrived in Bishkek, with whom negotiations have been held on concrete steps for further cooperation.

The parties have identified priority areas of cooperation: Pediatric oncology is a joint work on the diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases in children.

Neurology – exchange of experience and technologies in the field of pediatric neurological diseases.

Orphan diseases – helping children with rare diseases that require a special approach and specialized expertise. During the visit, the Nuncio visited NCOMID and got acquainted with the work of our center – its capabilities, team and potential for joint projects.

This partnership will open up new opportunities for Kyrgyz children and will be an important contribution to the development of domestic pediatric medicine.”
