Advancing Australia Through the Power of Research – Australian Research Council

Australian Research Council (ARC) shared on LinkedIn:

“This year marks 25 years since the establishment of the Australian Research Council.

For a quarter of a century, the ARC has supported excellent Australian research through the National Competitive Grants Program, funding more than 34,000 projects, supporting 38,000+ researchers and investing more than $18 billion in research.

As we mark this milestone, we are also looking ahead.

Today, alongside The Hon Jason Clare, The Hon Julian Hill and representatives from across the research sector, we launched the ARC Strategy 2026-2035, setting a vision for the decade ahead: Advancing Australia through the power of research.

Research creates new knowledge, builds capability and helps Australia respond to current and future challenges and opportunities.

The discoveries and expertise we support today will help shape Australia’s future prosperity, resilience and wellbeing.

Explore our new Strategy: Release of the ARC Strategy 2026-2035.”
