“Ready to lead the future of oncology?
Applications are now open for the 2027-28 ASCO Leadership Development Program (LDP). This isn’t just a training course-it’s a yearlong journey designed to transform high-potential professionals into the next generation of ASCO and oncology leaders.
Why join the LDP?
- Master leadership: Level up your skills with interactive sessions led by experts.
- Exclusive access: Network with and receive direct mentorship from ASCO leaders.
- Strategic insights: Dive deep into the challenges and solutions shaping the future of cancer care.
- Build your crew: Join a small, elite cohort of 16 peers and gain access to a robust alumni network.
“The range of learnings from negotiating skills, operations, and finances to media training in the context of an organization where one spends the rest of their professional career is invaluable in terms of providing insight, knowledge, and, most critically, building relationships,” said past participant W. Kimryn Rathmell, MD, PhD, FASCO, CEO of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
What to expect: The program kicks off at the 2027 ASCO Annual Meeting in Chicago and includes three immersive sessions at ASCO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, before concluding with graduation in June 2028. In between, there are three 2- or 3-day in-person sessions at ASCO HQ.
We encourage applicants from all practice settings and oncology subspecialties to apply. Different perspectives drive innovation!
Are you ready to accelerate your career? Apply now.”
