Arturo LoAIza-Bonilla, Network Chief of Hematology and Oncology at St. Luke’s University Health Network, Co-Founder and Chief Medical AI Officer (CMAIO) of Massive Bio, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Another recognition worth talking about, because this one gets to the heart of why health care exists.
The 2026-27 Lown Institute Hospitals Index does not simply measure reputation. It evaluates what matters to patients and communities: health equity, value of care and outcomes, using more than 50 metrics. And St. Luke’s did not just show up – we led.
St. Luke’s University Health Network an ‘A’ grade for Social Responsibility and straight A grades across major categories including health equity, value of care, patient outcomes, clinical outcomes, patient safety, patient satisfaction, inclusivity and cost efficiency. St. Luke’s was also ranked ‘1’ among health systems in the nation for patient outcomes and top 10 nationally for both social responsibility and patient satisfaction.
At the hospital level, St. Luke’s Easton Campus ranked ‘1’ out of 115 acute care hospitals in Pennsylvania and ‘8’ nationally on the social responsibility metric. Even more impressive, seven St. Luke’s hospitals earned Lown Honor Roll status – a distinction achieved by fewer than 5% of evaluated hospitals.
This matters because excellence at St. Luke’s is not isolated. It is becoming a network-wide standard.
We are not just recognized as a best employer. We are not just recognized for top quality. We are not just one of the nation’s Most Wired health systems. We are being recognized for doing the work that matters most: delivering high-quality, high-value, safe and compassionate care while supporting the communities we serve.
Proud to work for an organization that backs up its mission with measurable results – and even prouder of the people across St. Luke’s who make those results possible every day.”
