A Cancer Discovery study found that melanoma and Lung Cancer patients who consumed high levels of Sucralose had significantly worse responses to immunotherapy compared to those with low intake.

In mice, sucralose changed the gut microbiome, lowering arginine levels and weakening T-cell activity — crucial for fighting tumors.

The good news? Arginine supplements may reverse this effect.

This could change how we counsel cancer patients on diet, not just “eat healthy,” but eat smart for your immune system.
