Arjun Sahgal, Chief of Radiation Oncology at Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today, as we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Ablation Therapy (CAT) Program, I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank and congratulate the entire Radiation Treatment Program and hospital leadership.
The aquistion and implementation of the Elekta Gamma Knife Icon, Elekta Unity MR Linac and creation of a led lined integrated MR Brachytherapy suite, has resulted in exceptionally precise and innovative treatments for our patients.
This milestone is a direct reflection of the exceptional teamwork across our program. Together, we have built something truly meaningful that continues to make a positive impact on patient care and outcomes.
Reaching this 10 year mark is not only a significant achievement, but also a testament to what can be accomplished when a team works with shared purpose and a commitment to excellence.
As we look ahead, we are excited to build on this strong foundation as we transition into the Cancer Ablation Adaptive Therapy [CA(A)T] Program. This next chapter represents new opportunities for growth, innovation, and delivering even greater impact in the years to come.”
