Araksi Gasparyan: Why Oncology? A Journey Through Research and Discovery

Araksi Gasparyan, Oncology Resident at Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi, Assistant Managing Editor at OncoDaily, shared a post on LinkedIn:

” ‘Why oncology?‘ was the first question of my last interview. The answer was simple: working on a scientific article, reading more than 30 timely resources within the field, hard work and dedication led me to this decision.

Recently, a scientific article titled “Endoplasmic reticulum stress in brain metastatic cascade” was published in Nature‘s npj Precision Oncology, on which I was one of the co-authors. Although not the first one published, this was my first attempt at writing a scientific article.

I am very grateful to Dr. Edgar Petrosyan for giving me this opportunity and including me in the team.”
