Antonio Toesca: Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Mastectomy Clinical Observership Training at Candiolo Cancer Institute IRCCS

Antonio Toesca, Director of the Breast Surgery Program at Candiolo Oncology Institute – Turin IRCCS, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Mastectomy Clinical Observership Training at Candiolo Cancer Institute IRCCS.

A clinical observership program designed for qualified breast surgeons who want to learn the clinical application of endoscopic minimally invasive nipple-sparing mastectomy (E-NSM) in a high-volume tertiary breast cancer center.

The primary objectives are to enable participants to:

  • Understand the indications and patient selection criteria for endoscopic mastectomy.
  • Learn the standardized surgical technique and operating room organization.
  • Appreciate reconstruction strategies following minimally invasive mastectomy.
  • Develop the knowledge required before progressing to supervised hands-on training or proctorship.

Thanks to Applied Medical, Vincenzo De Luca, Merel Haase, Roelie Kruis, Alba Di Leone.”
