A clinical observership program designed for qualified breast surgeons who want to learn the clinical application of endoscopic minimally invasive nipple-sparing mastectomy (E-NSM) in a high-volume tertiary breast cancer center.
The primary objectives are to enable participants to:
- Understand the indications and patient selection criteria for endoscopic mastectomy.
- Learn the standardized surgical technique and operating room organization.
- Appreciate reconstruction strategies following minimally invasive mastectomy.
- Develop the knowledge required before progressing to supervised hands-on training or proctorship.
Thanks to Applied Medical, Vincenzo De Luca, Merel Haase, Roelie Kruis, Alba Di Leone.”
