“After months of Teams meetings, event management documents, and emails, I am thrilled to announce that the 2026 Cambridge Terry Fox Run has been confirmed for Sunday, May 10th from 10:30 – 13:00 across from the Mill Pub. All donations will go to The Institute of Cancer Research.
Register for the run for free and see the route map on the official registration page
Terry Fox has been an inspirational hero for every Canadian, me included. Terry ran approximately a full marathon every day for over 143 days (totalling 5373 km or 3339 miles) on his prosthetic leg to raise funds for cancer research. Since then, the Terry Fox Foundation, founded in his name, has raised over $1 billion CAD (£500 million) for cancer research around the world.
When I ran the London Terry Fox Run back in September 2025, I knew that I wanted to do my part in expanding his mission to Cambridge to support my friends who have had cancer in the past and/or who are currently battling cancer.
Thank you to Terry Fox Run UK for your support throughout this process, especially to Neil Johnson, Rohit Sharma, Robert Wattie, and Peter Sheremeta, as well as the rest of the Terry Fox Run team for making this possible.”
