Annalice Gandini: Presented E-Poster on HAIC in Liver-Dominant Metastatic Colorectal Cancer at ESMO25

Annalice Gandini, Resident at Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria San Martino di Genova and Research fellow at Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers and Hospital Georges Pompidou shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Back from ESMO2025!
Great days in Berlin.
Honored to have presented my e-poster on the efficacy and safety of hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) in liver-dominant metastatic colorectal cancer.

Our results show that HAIC is a promising option both as intensification and salvage treatment.
Interestingly, prior progression on intravenous oxaliplatin was associated with significantly lower survival in the intensification-HAIC setting, but not in the salvage setting — suggesting that oxaliplatin-HAIC should be discouraged after recent IV oxaliplatin failure.”
