Ann Livingstone, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Hybrid Deakin University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I had fun presenting at The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) in Melbourne, Australia about what matters most to people with cancer and carers in a telephone cancer information and support service.
Findings noted people with cancer valued talking to the same operator on calls and a cancer nurse-led model. Carers wanted a 1-week follow-up call, as did patients. Carers were also less concerned with speaking to the same operator on calls.”
