Anish Durvasula: Historic Pancreatic Cancer Data and AI’s Future at ASCO26

Anish Durvasula, Incoming Oncology Clinical Research Specialist at Mass General Brigham Research, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to attend the 2026 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in Chicago, Illinois. As a new ASCO member, I came away inspired by the ongoing research and the industry’s incredible achievements.

A major highlight was witnessing the historic Phase III data for daraxonrasib (Revolution Medicines) presented at the plenary session. In patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, this oral RAS(ON) inhibitor doubled median overall survival and significantly prolonged progression-free survival. I look forward to the continued translational work and clinical trials focusing on RAS-directed targeted therapy.

I want to thank OncoDaily and ZS for hosting an insightful and candid panel discussion with Pavan Anné, Douglas Flora, Sanjay Juneja, Sunil Verma, Debra Patt, and Cristian Massacesi, about the future of AI and oncology.

I am excited to connect with other passionate clinical research professionals and to be part of the future of precision oncology, targeted therapies, and efficient trial design.”
