Andrew Spiegel to Open Global Conferences on Colorectal Cancer and Patient Advocacy in Nairobi

Andrew Spiegel, Chief Executive Officer of Global Colon Cancer Association, shared on LinkedIn:

“Heading to Nairobi, Kenya, for an important week of international patient advocacy.

I’ll be opening two global conferences:

  • the Global Colon Cancer Association Congress on November 5-6
  • the World Patients Alliance Congress on November 7-8.

At GCCA, we’ll focus on improving

  • colorectal cancer prevention
  • early detection
  • access to treatment
  • the role of innovation in improving patient outcomes

At WPA, we’ll bring together leaders from a global alliance representing more than 850 patient organizations across 145 countries to address the challenges patients face across diseases and healthcare systems.

Different conversations, but the same fundamental principle:

where you live should not determine the quality of healthcare you receive.

Looking forward to four days of discussion, collaboration and, most importantly, action.”
