“7th Train-the-Trainers Course – INTERACT EUROPE 100
Institute of Oncology Ljubljana, Slovenia
Another inspiring milestone for the EU co-funded project INTERACT EUROPE 100, bringing together motivated trainers from across Europe to strengthen interdisciplinary cancer education and practice.
An amazing mix of countries, perspectives, and expertise – truly reflecting our growing network of 100+ European Cancer Centres united by the mission to learn, teach, and grow together.
We explored how to make interdisciplinary learning impactful, sustainable, and collaborative.
Here are some of our shared takeaways:
- A shared language and coordinated teamwork make interdisciplinary work stronger.
- Passing on teamwork skills to younger colleagues is essential.
- Improvement takes time — but the time you invest will come back twice in the future!
- A strong commitment to patient-centred and collaborative education drives us forward.
A big thank you to the Institute of Oncology Ljubljana for the warm hospitality, to the European Cancer Organisation for the excellent coordination, and to the European School of Oncology (ESO) for the seamless organisation and educational vision behind this initiative.
Together, we are shaping the future of interdisciplinary cancer training.”
