André W.: ASCO Visit Offers Powerful Reminder of Collaboration in Cancer Care

André W., Oncology Territory Manager – ADC Lung and Solid Tumor, National Field Trainer at Daiichi Sankyo US, shared on LinkedIn:

“Grateful for the opportunity to spend time at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) headquarters and connect with colleagues who share a commitment to advancing cancer care.

One quote on the wall stood out to me:

“Sharing information would give us the greatest chance of saving lives.” – Jane C. Wright

That message captures so much of what makes oncology special. Progress doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when researchers, clinicians, industry partners, advocates, and patients share knowledge, challenge each other, and work toward a common goal: better outcomes for people living with cancer.

Working in thoracic oncology, I’m continually reminded that innovation only reaches its full potential when we connect the science to the people who need it.

Great conversations, great people, and a meaningful visit.”
