Amy C. Moore: Celebrating a Stage IV Esophageal Cancer Patient’s Remarkable NED Milestone

Amy C. Moore, Director of Patient Engagement & Advocacy at Summit Therapeutics, Inc., shared a poston LinkedIn:

“In a bit of happy news, a friend’s loved one has been undergoing treatment for stage IV esophageal cancer. It first presented with a headache that led to discovery of a brain tumor that was surgically removed. Doctors then discovered the primary cancer, metastatic esophageal cancer.

Over the last year, this person has endured grueling treatment and nearly succumbed to respiratory complications.

But after a series of tests over the last week, doctors have determined that this person has no evidence of disease!

Little miracles are all around us.”
