“Last year, I had the honor of leading the submission for Burjeel Cancer Institute | BCI Abu Dhabi’s ESMO re-accreditation, a milestone that became one of our proudest achievements as a team.
This year, I’m equally proud to mark another step in our continuous journey toward excellence by achieving the ESMO accreditation for BCI-SHJ.
I’m truly grateful to Prof. Humaid Al-Shamsi, our visionary leader, for his trust, guidance, and constant encouragement, and to the entire BCI leadership and management team for their support.”

“With Sister Amira Al-Alawi from the Sultanate of Oman, who is currently the Director of Quality at Burjeel Cancer Institute, who led our team specialized in medical quality and a full year of hard work to obtain the accreditation of Burjeel Specialist Hospital as an accredited cancer treatment center from the European Society of Oncology, ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology.
Sister Amira could not be with us at the accreditation ceremony in Berlin last week, so I invited her today to thank her for her great efforts with her team to obtain this international accreditation. We are always looking forward to continuing to provide the best health services to cancer patients in the UAE and abroad.”
