Amin Malik Shah Abdul Majid: Honored to Present at the MASCC Annual Meeting

Amin Malik Shah Abdul Majid, Group Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer at NatureCeuticals, President at Eman Research Ltd, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I am honored to have represented Malaysia at the MASCC Annual Meeting, one of the world’s premier international conferences dedicated to supportive cancer care, attended by approximately 1,500 oncologists, researchers, nurses, pharmacists and allied healthcare professionals from around the world.

At the conference, I presented the results of our Phase II clinical study on Nuvastatic™ for the management of cancer-related fatigue (CRF) and showcased the successful completion of our Phase III clinical study in breast cancer patients.

Cancer-related fatigue affects up to 90% of patients undergoing cancer treatment and remains one of the most common, distressing and under-treated complications of cancer therapy. It significantly impacts patients’ quality of life, physical functioning and their ability to complete planned chemotherapy, highlighting a major unmet need in oncology supportive care.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the conference was the overwhelming interest from oncologists and supportive care practitioners from many countries. Many expressed their desire to see Nuvastatic™ become available to their patients, recognising the urgent need for clinically validated therapies that can help address cancer-related fatigue and improve patient outcomes.

These discussions reaffirm that supportive cancer care is becoming an increasingly important part of comprehensive cancer treatment. They also reinforce our mission at NatureCeuticals to develop scientifically validated botanical medicines that address unmet clinical needs and improve the lives of cancer patients worldwide.

I am deeply grateful to all our investigators, collaborators, clinicians, research teams and, most importantly, the patients who participated in our clinical studies. Their commitment has made this achievement possible.

This is an important milestone – not only for NatureCeuticals, but also for Malaysia’s growing contribution to global oncology research. We look forward to the next chapter as we work towards making innovative supportive cancer care accessible to patients who need it most.
