  • Julia Glade Bender, M.D. is a pediatric oncologist and Vice Chair for Pediatric Clinical Research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, specializing in solid tumors of the bone and soft tissue. Her work focuses on translating tumor biology into more effective, less toxic therapies for children.
  • Jonathan L. Metts, MD is an Associate Member of the Sarcoma Department at Moffitt Cancer Center and an Assistant Professor of Oncology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute. He focuses on developing novel therapies for sarcomas and other high risk pediatric solid tumors.

Dr. Glade Bender and Dr. Metts join Editor-in-Chief Dr. Nirali Shah to help build the journal and advance research across pediatric and AYA oncology. We’re so grateful to have their expertise on board!”
