Amanda Pullinger: Applications Open for the 2026 AACR–Debbie’s Dream Foundation Innovation and Discovery Grant

Amanda Pullinger, Co-Founder at Global Female Investors Management, LLC, CEO of Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Today, Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) are proud to announce the 2026 AACR-Debbie’s Dream Foundation Innovation and Discovery Grant, a $100,000 research award over two years that will support innovative gastric cancer research and help accelerate new discoveries for patients and families affected by stomach cancer.

Applications are now open, with a deadline of July 22, 2026. Learn more and apply at: AACR-Debbie’s Dream Foundation Gastric Cancer Innovation and Discovery Grant.

But a research grant is only the beginning. As we launch this new funding opportunity, we’re also proud to introduce Where Research Funding Leads: DDF-AACR Research Impact Series, a new interview series highlighting past DDF-AACR grant recipients and how early research support helped launch careers, foster collaborations, advance scientific discovery, and move gastric cancer research forward.

Throughout the series, as CEO of Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer, I sat down with researchers to discuss the lasting impact of research funding, the work they’re leading today, and how continued investment in gastric cancer research can help improve outcomes for patients and families around the world.

Huge thanks to:
