“Today, Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) are proud to announce a new AACR-Debbie’s Dream Foundation Innovation and Discovery Grant, providing $100,000 over two years to support innovative gastric cancer research and help advance new discoveries for patients and families affected by stomach cancer.
Research funding is about more than a grant; it’s about investing in people. As we launch this new funding opportunity, we’re also launching a new series highlighting researchers whose careers and work have been impacted by past DDF-supported funding.
It has been such a privilege for me, as CEO of Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer, to interview some of these researchers – to understand what the past Awards funded and how that early funding has further progressed both their careers and stomach cancer research.
