Amanda Impellizzeri, Executive Director of 3 Oncology State Societies and Leadership Relations Manager at MJH Life Sciences, shared a post by Louisiana Oncology Society on LinkedIn:
“Well, just like that, another year of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) has come to an end, and I’m heading home.
After briefly losing (and thankfully recovering) a few things throughout the week, I’m happy to report that I’m leaving Chicago with everything I arrived with plus a little more knowledge, inspiration, and a few thousand extra steps.
ASCO is always a whirlwind, but some of the highlights included reconnecting with colleagues and friends, meeting new fellows and catching up with others I’ve had the privilege of building relationships with over the years, spending time with members of our boards, and celebrating the recognition of our advocacy efforts.
Most of all, I’m grateful for the conversations, connections, and shared commitment to improving cancer care. It’s always energizing to be surrounded by so many people who are passionate about making a difference.
Until next year, ASCO!”
