Aman Chauhan: Evolving Diagnostic and Treatment Pathways for Extrapulmonary NENs

Aman Chauhan, Associate Professor at University of California, San Francisco, on X:

Excited to share a new educational program I had the privilege of participating in with Rhonda Yantiss.

Oncology–Pathology Dialogues: Evolving Diagnostic Pathways to Expand Treatment of Extrapulmonary Neuroendocrine Neoplasms.’

This CME activity brings together the perspectives of oncology and pathology to explore the rapidly evolving landscape of extra-pulmonary neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs), including:

  • Challenges in diagnosis and classification
  • The critical role of expert pathology review
  • merging biomarkers, especially DLL-3
  • reatment implications for NETs and NECs
  • How multidisciplinary collaboration can improve patient outcomes

As treatments and clinical trials continue to expand, accurate diagnosis has never been more important. Grateful for the opportunity to discuss these important issues and help advance education in this rare and often underrecognized group of cancers.
