“At the airport reflecting. When John Marshall asked if I would be interested in attending SHIFT, I looked at the stakeholders and said Yes. No matter the agenda or the purpose, I knew it was going to be a room full of Oncology ‘Change-makers’ as Douglas Flora, LSSBB stated.
AI, technology, and all of the incredible solutions out there to help us create space to care for our communities…….. but without conversation and shared end goals it can be a bit overwhelming to manage and select what’s best for our programs and patients.
We spent the time having honest conversations and brainstorming about what we can game-change, together.
‘We’ve replaced the mundane with the humane.’ It got right back to establishing trust and utilizing/creating solutions to make sure our patients don’t fall through the cracks and our clinicians don’t get burdened in the process.
