”Cancer systems across Europe are under pressure! Rising incidence, workforce shortages and financial constraints demand smarter implementation, not just stronger commitments.
On 02 June 2026 at the European Parliament and online, All.Can International will officially launch its latest global report: ‘Implementing person-centred cancer care to improve outcomes, experiences and efficiency’.
The message is clear: person-centred care is a structural strategy to improve outcomes, strengthen experiences and use limited resources more efficiently.
Hosted by MEP Nicholas Papandreou, the discussion will focus on:
- Implementing person-centred cancer care pathways across the continuum
- Embedding efficiency metrics in national healthcare systems
- Strengthening sustainable cancer systems through better data, coordination and workforce models
- Aligning EU and national investment with measurable outcomes
Confirmed contributors include Prof Bettina Borisch, Caroline Berchet (OECD), Kelly Butterworth, Marc Van den Bulcke and Kostas Athanasakis. Discussion will be moderated by Alex Filicevas.
Sustainable cancer systems are built when person-centred design, efficiency measurement and long-term investment align.
