Alireza Mansouri, Associate Professor at Penn State Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We’re proud to announce that Beat Childhood Cancer (BCC) at Penn State College of Medicine has launched the WeTrials AI-powered patient engagement platform across its international research network.
BCC is one of the largest pediatric cancer research consortia in the world, spanning more than 50 hospitals and institutions across North America, South America and Europe. Families now have a single, centralized destination to discover, understand and engage with BCC’s clinical research studies.
Awareness and understanding remain among the biggest barriers to trial participation. Our shared goal with BCC is to lower those barriers by translating complex research into clear language, offering personalized educational experiences, and giving families AI-powered tools to explore their options with greater confidence.
This is what patient-centered clinical research should look like. Grateful to Dr. Giselle Saulnier-Sholler (Giselle Sholler) and the entire BCC team for their partnership, and to the WeTrials team for building toward a future where every family can navigate the research journey with clarity.
Families can access the platform at research.beatcc.org.”
