“As June is coming to an end so is Another Stupid Challenge. We are only $1000 away from our goal! Every bit helps! Cancer Con has been so influential to my recovery and this scholarship will help another patient find their community.
Today’s photos feature myself at Cancer Con over the past 5 years. This is where I have met many of my best friends. This was my first cancer conference. This is one thing I do every year for ME as a patient. It is my safe space to be seen and heard. I truly hope to give someone else this incredible experience.
For those who don’t know, Stupid Cancer is the leader in building the adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer community and ending isolation.
- We believe that creating space for young people with cancer to connect and build community is the most powerful antidote to the isolation that often defines the AYA cancer experience.
- We believe that adolescents and young adults with cancer deserve targeted resources that address the specific challenges they face – and bold advocacy where traditional systems fall short.

Why now? June is Cancer Survivors Month and to celebrate I am participating in Another Stupid Challenge to fundraise $2,500 for Stupid Cancer to provide a scholarship to attend CancerCon 2027 in Cleveland!
