RWD, the data generated from everyday patient care, helps us to understand disease progression, how treatments perform and which patients are being left behind. But no single organisation can unlock RWD’s potential alone, yet it’s one of the most powerful tools we have to help address the growing demands on today’s healthcare systems.
That’s why AstraZeneca is hosting the inaugural FORWD Summit 2026 next week, bringing together over 100 global leaders from healthcare, academia, technology and pharma to unlock the power of RWD to transform care.
The challenge I would look to solve is to fully-integrate primary and secondary data on one electronic medical record in all countries. We would be able to put the patient at the centre of their care, ensuring no patients fall through the cracks during care transitions, while giving a more complete picture of population health for real-world evidence purposes.”
