Alaa Zakzouk, Hospital Deputy Manager at Baheya Charity Women’s Cancer Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today, my heart is filled with gratitude, Alhamdulelah.
My first research work has been accepted as a poster at the ESMO Breast Cancer Congress 2026 in Berlin. This journey, focusing on patients with triple-negative breast cancer at Baheya Foundation, has been more than just research; it has been driven by a commitment to improving patient outcomes and advancing truly patient-centered care in TNBC.
This achievement is not mine. It belongs to my professors who believed in me before I fully believed in myself. Thank you, Dr.Omnia Korani, Prof. Maher Hassan, and Assoc. Prof. Mahitab Eltohamy for paving the way, for your patience, your guidance, and for opening doors I once thought were beyond my reach. Your support has shaped not only my career, but also who I am becoming. This was conducted as part of my Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy at The German University in Cairo.
To Prof.Mohamed Hassan Solayman and Ass. Prof. Danira Habashy, thank you for your encouragement from the very first moment, for your constant support, and for believing in my potential every step of the way. Your guidance, along with the rigorous courses you led, has not only strengthened this work but also shaped the way I approach research and learning.
A special thanks to Prof. Shohda Assem Ahmed Elmaraghy and Prof. Omneya Fawzy, the Dean and Vice Dean at MTI, for their unwavering support, guidance, and the strong academic environment they foster.”
