Al-Ola Abdallah: Kansas Achieves a Pivotal Milestone in Myeloma Mortality

Al-Ola Abdallah, Director of Plasma Cell Disorders Care at The University of Kansas Health System and Chair of the US Myeloma Innovations Research Collaborative (USMIRC), shared on LinkedIn:

“Honestly, no paper, citation, conference talk, or clinical trial could give me the feeling I have today.

Kansas has finally closed the gap with the national myeloma mortality rate. After years of hard work, being part of this milestone means more to me than anything on my CV.

Al-Ola Abdallah

I think about the patients we’ve cared for, the families we’ve come to know, and everyone who kept showing up and believed we could do better.

I’m just grateful I got to be part of it.

We did it TEAM!”
