“Breaking News: A New Era for Lung Cancer Treatment
We are thrilled to announce that the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has approved ivonescimab in combination with chemotherapy as a first-line treatment for advanced squamous non-small cell lung cancer (sq‑NSCLC)!
This approval, which brings the third lung cancer indication for ivonescimab, is built on the breakthrough results from the Phase III HARMONi‑6 (AK112‑306) study:
- Positive OS data presented at the ASCO 2026 Plenary Session – a historic first for a China‑originated novel therapy in ASCO’s 61‑year history, with simultaneous publication in The Lancet.
- Positive PFS data previously featured in the ESMO 2025 Presidential Symposium, also published in The Lancet.
