“A major scientific milestone for AIM-HI portfolio company Degron Therapeutics.
Research led by Degron Therapeutics and ShanghaiTech University has been published in Nature, highlighting a promising molecular glue degrader designed to target HuR—a protein long considered difficult to drug.
The study revealed how targeted degradation of HuR may suppress BRAF-mutant colorectal cancer and potentially help overcome resistance to BRAF inhibitors, pointing to a promising new direction for difficult-to-treat cancers.
Degron Therapeutics was a winner of the 2023 AIM-HI BRACE Award Venture Competition. We are proud to see the company continue translating innovative science into potential new approaches for difficult-to-treat cancers.
