Applications from all regions are welcome, with projects from EasternandCentralEurope, LatinAmerica, and Asia particularly encouraged.”

“Call for Applications: The International Cancer Foundation (ICF) is calling for project proposals and initiatives enhancing cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, palliative care and research in LMICs, with the potential to generate meaningful and sustainable impact in Cancercontrolandcare worldwide.

Who can apply? Health practitioners, researchers, patient representatives, governmental and non-governmental organizations working in cancer control and care are encouraged to submit project proposals:

  • Aligned with the ICF’s mission
  • Addressing local and national needs of patients and/or healthcare professionals

Your proposal will be assessed based on following criteria:

  1. Impact =Projects should demonstrate the potential for significant and sustainable outcomes for patients, families, the medical community, and cancer research, with long-term and potentially global benefits, including scalability and replicability.
  2. Feasibility = Proposals must present a clear, goal-oriented workplan with defined milestones, a realistic budget, and a strong implementation strategy including cooperation with national authorities and partners, as well as risk assessment.
  3. Methodology = Strong background research, a clear work hypothesis, a sound strategy to achieve objectives, and a solid logical framework are essential.
  4. CostBenefit / Value for Money = The projected benefits should clearly outweigh the estimated costs.
  5. Originality = We welcome innovative approaches that reinterpret existing knowledge, introduce new methodologies, or address previously unexplored areas in cancer care and control.
