Aemish Fatima: Child Life Services and Its Impact on Pediatric Oncology Patients and Their Parents

Aemish Fatima, Visiting Faculty Member, DHA Suffa University, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I think I almost forgot to mention that my abstract, “Child Life Services and Its Impact on Pediatric Oncology Patients and Their Parents” was accepted for a poster presentation at the 17th SIOP Asia Congress, held at Al Maarefa University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in April 2025 International Society of Paediatric Oncology – SIOP.

While I was excited to represent my work on an international platform, I was unfortunately unable to attend the conference at that time due to visa restrictions for Pakistani applicants during the end of Ramadan, which limited my ability to present this work in person.

Nevertheless, the study was published last year in the OncoDaily and bears the DOI, allowing it to reach the academic community.

Throughout this journey, my passion for pediatric psychosocial care and research remained a strong driving force. I am deeply grateful to the mentors, colleagues, and families who inspired and supported this work.”
