“Honored to present the ‘Year in Review: Basic Science’ at SABCS 2025 – and even more proud of the outstanding showing by colleagues across UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation and NSABP Foundation Inc..
This year was truly a banner one, with 26 presentations – 9 oral and 15 posters (only counting first and senior author presenters). Our contributions reflected the breadth of our scientific and clinical strengths, with major clusters in:
- Genomics and molecular characterization (6 presentations)
- ctDNA and liquid biopsy–based monitoring (5 presentations)
- Lobular breast cancer research (5 presentations)
- Real-world evidence and treatment outcomes (5 presentations)
The scope and depth of this work underscore our continued leadership across discovery science, translational research, and precision oncology.
