That’s my Sunday reflection.
On Friday 25th September, 2026 I join Acetrea Cancer Advocacy Network in a conversation on childhood cancer which reminded me that awareness is not just about knowing – it is about what we do with what we know.
Recognising concerning signs, seeking appropriate medical attention early, supporting families, and sharing accurate health information can make a meaningful difference.
As healthcare professionals, advocates, parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members, we all have a role to play.
This week, let’s turn knowledge into action:
- Start a conversation.
- Share reliable health information.
- Encourage timely medical attention.
- Support someone facing a difficult journey.
- Be a voice for those who need to be heard.
Because sometimes, one conversation can create awareness, one action can inspire hope, and one voice can make a difference.
