Mapping Childhood Cancer Survivors in Africa
About SurNet: Mapping Childhood Cancer Survivors in Africa
The CCI Survivors Network (SurNet), a global platform of Childhood Cancer International (CCI), connects childhood cancer survivors around the world to provide peer support, share resources, and advocate for improved long-term follow-up care, better quality of life, and reduced late effects.
SurNet is open to individuals who were diagnosed with cancer before the age of 18 and who are now 18 years or older.
As part of this initiative, we are launching a survey focused specifically on Africa, where information on survivors’ experiences and access to dedicated support remains limited. The survey aims to build a stronger, evidence-based understanding of the needs and realities of childhood cancer survivors across the continent.
We encourage all eligible survivors to complete the survey before 15 June 2026 and help ensure that Africa’s voice is represented and heard.
Why your voice matters:
- Identify the unique needs and challenges faced by childhood cancer survivors across Africa
- Advocate for stronger and more accessible healthcare systems and long-term follow-up care
- Strengthen peer support networks connecting survivor
Every response matters.
Thank you for being part of this important initiative. Your story, experience, and voice are valuable.”
