Adeena Musheer, Operations Coordinator and Educational Committee Member at MedNews Week, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Excited to share how much MedNews Week has shaped my journey over the past six months.
MedNews Week is a global oncology education, mentorship, and scientific communication platform with over 740,000 viewers, 100+ million impressions, and a reach spanning more than 100 countries. We are especially proud to support learners across 44 low- and middle-income countries, helping expand access to high-quality oncology education and expert-led discussions worldwide.
I joined MedNews Week as a trainee, eager to learn from leaders in the field. Since then, it has been an incredible experience filled with growth, mentorship, and opportunities I never imagined possible.
I’m deeply grateful to Dr. Yan Leyfman for his mentorship and vision in building a platform that continues to connect, educate, and inspire future healthcare leaders around the world.
As someone whose research interests have centered on oncology for the past three years, particularly CAR-T cell therapy, stem cell transplantation, immunotherapy, and cancer outcomes research, I have had the privilege of hosting keynote conferences and spotlight sessions featuring world-renowned oncology experts whose work I have long admired. Learning directly from these leaders has been both inspiring and transformative.
Beyond educational programming, I’ve also had the opportunity to contribute to research initiatives exploring cancer biology, novel therapeutics, and emerging trends in oncology. These experiences have reinforced my passion for advancing cancer care through both scientific discovery and education.
Today, I’m excited to continue this journey in a leadership role as the Operations Coordinator and Educational Committee Member at MedNews Week. In these roles, I help oversee program logistics, educational initiatives, speaker engagement, research projects and community-building efforts while supporting the development of impactful oncology education for a global audience.
We’re also excited to share that several new episodes and collaborations including upcoming content in partnership with OncoDaily will be released soon, and I can’t wait for our community to see what we’ve been working on behind the scenes.
Applications for the next MedNews Week trainee cohort are now open. If you’re passionate about oncology, research, medical education, and global collaboration, I encourage you to apply today!
The best is yet to come.”
