The Invisible Dimensions of Care and Humanity in Palliative Medicine – ACREOL Global

“Beyond Medicine: The Invisible Dimensions of Care and Humanity

The invisible is often where care begins. At the ACREOL Global office, we had the privilege of welcoming Georges Camara (CEO, Birdie Lounge) and Dr. Amy Camara (Physician Therapist, Alma Wellness) for an enriching exchange on expanding approaches to care.

Together, we explored how palliative care can go beyond the clinical to integrate:

  • Spirituality, therapeutic energy and holistic approaches to care.
  • Practices such as acupressure, hypnotherapy, energy alignment, and mindful listening.
  • The importance of restoring balance, calming the mind and reconnecting with yourself.

These perspectives remind us that care is not only about treating illness, but also about honoring humanity, cultivating confort, dignity, and well-being emotional, especially in the most vulnerable moments of life.

Thank you to Georges Camara and Dr. Amy Camara for highlighting these invisible but essential dimensions of care.

Because palliative care is not only what is seen, but also what is deeply felt.
