“Thanks to Dr. Myriam Legenne and Ali Choukroun for the invitation!
Our Executive Director Dr. Christian Ntizimira had the pleasure of exchanging with Sciences Po and Lumière University Lyon 2 students about palliative care in Rwanda and how the ubuntu philosophy shapes our practices.
They discussed the early integration of palliative care, lessons from the field (patients, families, teams ) and research that documents the human, social and economic impact of a holistic approach.
Ubuntu ‘I am because we are’ reminds us that dignity and solidarity are not incidental, but essentials.
Gratitude to the teachers who make these dialogues possible, especially Thomas Bonnet and Magali Robelet. Let’s continue to build bridges between universities and the field for fairer health!”
