This unique opportunity is open for eligible candidates both in the U.S. and internationally!
July 1, 2026 is the start date for this 1-year Advanced Fellowship, which is a FULL-TIME position at the Division of Myeloma and Sylvester Myeloma Institute, University of Miami, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The perfect candidate for this new job is a physician (who completed fellowships in hematology, or hematology/oncology) with interest in cutting-edge clinical care, translational science, modern treatment strategies, teamwork, and/or drug development and novel ideas.

ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION:
Applicants need to have attained a M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. (or the equivalent). Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Heme-Onc fellowship.
FELLOWSHIP GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
- Myeloma is a complicated disease that has shown to have better management and outcomes with a physician specially trained in Myeloma.
- The goal of the Advanced Myeloma Fellowship is train fellows to provide specialized care for patients with Myeloma, as well as improve their ability to design and implement clinical and investigator-initiated research studies.
- After the one-year fellowship, fellows will be expected to have specialized knowledge in the biology and treatment of multiple myeloma and the precursor disorders.
- Fellows will be able to conduct clinical research studies and strengthen their skills on study design, analysis, interpretation, and implementation.
- Each fellow will be able to provide care independently within a clinical setting, design and implement research projects, and work as an academic faculty member.
Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is the only NCI-Designated Cancer Center in South Florida, serving one of the most diverse catchment areas in the country. Sylvester has multiple cancer treatment locations within its four-county catchment area, providing convenient access to clinical therapies and supportive care. Sylvester has several highly collaborative, multidisciplinary research programs, including Translational & Clinical Oncology, Cancer Epigenetics, Cancer Control, and Tumor Biology, which comprise more than 100 faculty members.
